Beckman High School participates in the National School Lunch Program.
Each lunch served to students meets or exceeds the USDA guidelines for nutritional value. A student may substitute a Peanut Butter, Ham, or Turkey Sandwich with string cheese for the Main Entrée meat/protein alternative.
Lunch Components: - 2oz meat/protein alternative -2 servings of fruits and/or vegetables -2 servings of grain -1⁄2 pint milk.
The Food Service Department has implemented a computer software program: School Dining System. Parents have the ability to view their family meal activity online, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You may check your balance and view transactions and deposits made to your account. If you have a correct e-mail address on file, you will receive low balance notifications electronically.
To access the School Dining System click on the RED School Dining System icon that is located on the Beckman High School home page. Enter family number and password. If you do not know your family number and password please contact Emily Snyder at

The student's identification card serves as the student's ID card, library and
lunch card. Students must have their current lunch card or a lunch pass with them. Students may only use their own
lunch card.
Student's who do not have their coded lunch card; a lunch pass may be obtained before 10:00 a.m. in the cafeteria each day. If a student uses a lunch pass for four out of five days, the student will be charged $5.00 for a replacement card.
Student's who do not have a lunch card or a lunch pass must go to the end of the line and will be served their meal after all other students are served and will not be able to purchase extras or ala carte items.
Your Account:
Accounts are expected to be paid in advance and carry a positive balance.
Student may charge any combination of meals up to a negative balance of $5.00 per student. In a family with one
student the limit is -$5.00; two students: -$10.00; three students: -$15.00 and so on.
Any student (including those awarded Free and Reduced benefits) wishing to purchase additional items must have money in their account to do so. Students must have funds available in their account to purchase a second meal, extra items or ala Carte.
Students will be notified verbally when their account falls below a positive balance of $5.00.
