What does Students For Life stand for and do?

*They encourage respect for all human life through service.*

~Beckman students in 8th-12th grade are encouraged to join the 500,000 protesters at the March for Life each year. It takes place on or around the anniversary of Roe v. Wade (January 22), the court case legalizing abortion in America. For more information, visit this link: Beckman March for Life Trip.

  PLANNED PARENTHOOD  IN DUBUQUE IS CLOSING EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY January 27,2016.

~October is Right to Life month. Help put up the "Pray to End Abortion" signs or the crosses on school grounds or volunteer to promote the Baby Food and Diaper collection that happens during the month of October. 

~Mrs. Koetz visits Julien Care Center on the first Saturday of each month to play bingo with the residents there and help to celebrate that month's birthdays.

~Beckman's Students for Life participate in the Pro-Life Day of Silent Solidarity to raise awareness about abortion. Those participating are asked to remain in reflective, silent prayer for the 4,000 lives taken by abortion each day. The Day of Silence the second Tuesday in October.
